Could this be the slave cylinder....

....causing my car not to get into gear?

I've went ahead and was getting ready to drop the tranny and got to the slave cylinder and noted the slave cylinder's rod had quite a bit of play, basically bend it down and pull in and out w/ it.

The other day had to tow my car home due to not being able to grab 2nd getting on the freeway w/ a 4K rpm granny shift. The clutch pedal initially stuck to the floor, then came back up after I pressed it again.

I was unable to get the car in any gear and had to roll off the freeway in neutral.

So is it the slave cylinder?

Well, I pulled the sleave off the slave cylinder, looks like it is suppost to bend around like that. I'm guessing it could be the pressure plate, I've snapped a spring in the pressure plate before w/ a Mcleod Clutch at Carlsbad Raceway

I'm just hoping nothing got screwed up in the tranny.

*update*

Well, it was the clutch disk snapped in two Basically the part of the disk that contains the springs broke off

I've installed a new clutch, an OEM one, but now getting chatter from the throw out bearing Will this chatter cease or do I have to pull the clutch again
