icm or coil?
icm or coil?
ok.. i been dealing with this p1351 code for a while now.its doesn't affect the driveablity of the car but its drives me that its there lol. well when i wass looking at the icm and coil, the coil and icm its upside down the coil faces up and all the grounds are on the outside of the stud is that ok to be like that?
Should look like this (Courtesy of Shoebox):

But If you had all the wires connected, connectors seated properly in the right places, and the grounds secure on the stud, then I don't see why it wouldn't work properly.

all the grounds r there and everything is tight i just thought maybe since the icm is on the bottom of the head its getting hot and stuff.ill try the cooling mod and see what happens. the thing is that p1351 comes on as soon i start my car. the fires up on first try no bs.i dunno i was reading bout testing the white wire or something to the affect or the wire might got messed up or something ill check in it some more.. BTW there are 3 grounds that go to the icm and coil right?

Yes, there should be three grounds.
You can have the ICM tested at AZ. Make sure they run it several times.

today i took it apart and the coil has cracks in it not on the mouting area on the coil body it has some movement too is that normal? they side its high from side to side and in range from the post to the connector . im gonna order a new coil and hopefully my 1351 code will go away
