IAT Relocation

 Has anyone heard of the IAT relocation mod? I just got done doing it and I think the car actually pulls harder in the top end(used to bog out at top in 90+ temps). I was told the PCM will have more timing and fuel with this mod. I installed it in the left front air box for my air cleaner and installed a K&N filter. Has anyone else heard or done this mod or did I waste my time with it. I'm want to to the TB Bypass now but hear its a waste of time, maybe i'll do it anyways. Also what about an aftermarket Y-Pipe on stock manifolds? waste of time or worth considering? Also real quick, does anyone have any tricks to tweak the TPS for better responce without buying an aftermarket tps set-up, im looking for better responce off idle???

I did the home made relocation a couple of years ago, didn't notice anything different. Then I went to Radio shack and bought the resistor thing, didn't notice anything different.Pulled the resistor off,no difference. It seems every time I wanted to do stuff having to do with the intake removal,I had these wires to deal with.Take them off,put them back in thier almost factory almost looking location. It was a pain,so I put the thing back to it's original location.I don't want to discorrage you from doing this, but remember that the air is traveling at about 200 miles per hour through the intake, and on my car, nothing.Hope this helps.

It is a ricer style mod, leave it where it is.
