I messed up
 
I just sold my Hypertech to a guy from this board and someone just told me that it's not going to work on his car. Mine is a '94 and his is a '95. I was told he will need a different adapter. I triied contacting Hypertech and they haven't gotten back to me yet. I don't mean to screw anyone over. If anyone knows where I can get this adapter, I'd appreciate it.

It won't work on his car and Hypertech :rolleyes: won't sell you the adapter. Heck, they will not help you with ANYTHING period.
Your best bet is to refund his money when you get it back or sell it to someone else and have the guy ship it directly to them. (if you trust the person)
You won't find an adapter unless you're really lucky and someone might just have one lying around. It's not worth it either way.

How much did you sell it for?

the programer sucks, wtf do u expect from customer service..

the programer is also vin # locked so it wont work on another car anyway

its not just that company customer service in general has gone downhill

It will work on a different car if you return the previously programmed one back to stock.

You guys are right about their service. They told me to buy a new one and it will come with the adapter. I can't believe they won't sell the adapters. Jerks. Oh well. I'll tell him to send it back to me. Anyone want it?

Well the programmer should work in 94/95's...but the adapter is another story. Did you contact the guy you sold it to you yet?

Yeah, I let him know about the problem. He's gonna send it back as soon as it gets there. It's back up for sale. Not for a '95 though, lol. Madwolf has first dibs.
