i go from bad to worse lol

i go from bad to worse lol

ok ..so i was reattaching the front "cover" of the water pump. ( thin piece of metal held there by 6 bolts, covers the fan) Anyway ...It was leaking from there before, so i tightened them too tight and i snapped a bolt of in the hole ...

lol ..what now?

You're gonna have to snag it out! Sears sells something for it, not sure what its called.

I gotta polished W/P cover, if you wanna but it.

Was there some reason you needed to take that cover off? There is usually no need to touch it. You are going to need to drill out the remaining bolt and extract it and you will probably have to remove the pump to have room to do it.

/sigh yeah, i had to remove it cus it was leaking. the inner o-ring had slipped loose and wasnt stopping the coolant /sigh ...oh well ..im learning everytime
