hub thread stripped

hub thread stripped

The threads for the bolt that hold the crank hub on are stripped.. I was wondering what i can do about this.. can i just retap new threads?

Drill and heli-coil or replace crank are pretty much your options.

Thank you very much.. Does a shop charge much to do this??? Or is it something i could do in the garage.. Im not sure whrere to get the tools for the job
