How would I do?

I was at a car show last week and i was talking to a guy who has a 95 Mustang GTCobra 4.6 5sp/4.10 gears and a vortech blower making 6 psi...He wanted to know if i would race him after the show i said sure but i couldnt not just yet..need some further tuning and my Accel 300 plus ignition box installed, but i said i would next time i seen him so how do you think i would do...Or better how much do you think i will lose by..:)

A friend at one time had a 96 Cobra (5 speed) with an 8 psi Vortec, 4.10s, all the bolt ons, headers, h-pipe, flowmaster etc... Ran a best of 12.30 (with slicks and all suspension upgrades.) There are several bolt-on LT1s in the 12's. I think you should be able to take him with a proper tune. RACE AT A TRACK! Better traction and most of all safer!

I say that you would clean his clock with a proper tune and traction especially if you are a decent driver.

Thanks guys,;) it will be going back soon for the rest of the tunning and then i will race him and take it to the track to see what i can do :) im hoping for low 12's traction might be an issue:D
