try new plugs, wires, air filter, the hotter the engine the more gas efficient. 4.10 dont help that gas problem! Try MSD is ignition system, i hear they help out a lil.

i knock down consistent 20mpg+ driving around town if i keep my foot out of it most of the time and shift 1,3,5 around town and shifting before 3000rpm. 4.10s didnt seem to hurt mileage at all except at constant speeds above 85. replace your o2 sensors if you havent lately that will help. also make sure you keep your tires properly inflated since the gas prices have shot up i have been running 40 in front and 37 in the rear where normally it would be 35/32 just because it rides better.
