LT1 "Cadillac" custom grind dyno results
I made up a custom grind cam for a customers 97 Trans Am WS6 6-speed.
The car is stock with the exception of a K&N filter, MSD wires and a Hooker aerochamber replacement muffler.
The cam is 213/218 @.050. . I also installed Comp 1.6 rockers and comp springs/retainers.
The car made 318rwhp and 320rwtq. Peak power was at 6,000, and it made over 300ft lbs of torque from 2,200 to 5,400.
This was with tuning. The car made 308/317 before tuning.
The car sounds dead stock and still has stock manifolds/cats/throttle body, etc.

Good grief. I am just throwing money away on my setup...with the comp cams 210/220 cam, stage 1 GTP heads and FLP longtubes and tuning I'm only putting down 322/346.
I've been considering a cam change but for you to get those kinds of numbers with a 213/218 cam through stock manifolds makes me embarassed with my setup.

You should still consider a cam change.
There's alot more to a cam than just it's duration #'s

I like the "cadillac" custom grind name.....call it whatever you want, the car moves, pulls strong right up to 6500rpm, has good torque down low, and great driveability....just what I wanted, thanks.....

That settles it then, I'm doing the Comp XE 224/230 I've been wanting. I've jacked around too long with the tiny cc304.
I don't suppose you'd share what LSA that 213/218 cam has
