Question How long do plug wires last?

I have a 94Z almost stock(no headers) and 130k miles. I have never changed the plug wires in the 4 years I have owned it. The previous owner did change them once. Is this really good life or typical?

well they should last for a long time unless they get burned up. But if you have been driving it for 4 years i would change them and the spark plugs. Even if you think your car is running fine right now you will be surprised how much better the car will run with a fresh set of plugs and wires.

That is what I plan to do. Given the "pain in the A" factor, I only want to do this once. What do you recomend as far as size and brand? I would like to do the OVC set but I have stock manifolds and dont plan on switching to headers for a long time if at all. Will that set work with a stock setup?

You will burn up your OVC wires with stock manifolds.

Hooker LT's, Taylor Wires, OVC Kit, 2.5 years and wires are still in great condition. I'll buy them again when I decide to change wires.
