How the hell do I get the distributor cap off?

Where do I get this inverted torx socket, I checked sears, autozone, and o'reilleys, who carries this stupid thing.

Well I had an extra torx screw for the TB cover plate.....I just used that and some vice grips....it worked fine.

I bought a set of GM packaged torx bits from O'reilly's. It was the only place that had them(I went to several auto/hardware stores). You might try seeing if they can order them.

I had the same problems finding a socket that would fit. I finally found a SET of torx sockets with the right size in it at Checkers/Schucks/Kragen.

they had them at my autozone

Did you read the original post in this thread? He's not the only one who couldn't find it at Sears. I tried 3 different Sears outlets in Tacoma/Seattle when I lived there and couldn't find a E4 torx socket.

I believe the socket needed is an E4.
