How does this airfoil install?

I got this for $20 shipped....figured I should get one, since besides an underdrive pulley, it's the only bolt-on (I think) I don't have.

Any idea how it installs?

did it not come with any other hardware? usually there is a screw the goes through the back of the throttle body to clap it in place i believe.

That looks like the kind that sits just infront of your TB, it just sandwiches between it and the lip inside the boot......

He's full of crap. There is supposed to be a bolt that goes with it for fastening to the TB.
IMO it's better used as a paper weight. You won't see any gains by using it...

I have the same type and I have it sandwiched in between the TB and the intake elbow, works for me. The two holes that look like screw holes go on the bottom, at least that's how mine is. I believe that's for the IAC. Not sure though. Anyone else?

Yep you're right about the IAC thing, and I have it installed like you said and it's working fine.

Yes, there is no other hardware, thats a Jet airfoil. It's just a sandwich type, not the best by any means, but better than nothing.

Re: How does this airfoil install?

Nomad got it. Its a Jet airfoil. It goes in the lip just inside the rubber elbow and then you install the elbow like normal. I have one in my 1LE intake elbow. It should be marked TOP on one side, this is the side that should be up when installed. Its not any worse than the PITA bolt in one.
