Lightbulb Hotcam Kit, Rate my track times!!!

I was wondering how my track times are compared to other people's out there

60 ft: 1.98
330 ft: 5.621
1/8: 8.579 @ 84.44
1000': 11.12
1/4: 13.27 @ 104.92

Those are my best numbers and here are my mods:

93 LT1/A4
Hotcam Kit
30# SVOs
Longtubes
Borla !CAT
K&N, LID
SFCs, LCAs
315 DRs
MSD 6AL & Wires
Tuning
And some spark knock

Dyno'd last week 320rw/331tq on Mustang Dyno, It seems my trap speeds are low

Well, the spark knock could be killing you. Also, with an A4, your traps don't look THAT bad, but maybe a couple of mph low.

Take care of the knock and see what you do.

dont let people tell you your time is up there.....There are tons of bolt on cars runnig those times and faster.... i would double check everything, there is something wrong with your car...esp if you dynoed 320 on the mustang dyno.

Thanks, Damn spark knock I think is getting me at Top End, maybe that's the reason for low trap speeds....

I'll Bring advance down a few degrees and see if that helps me.

I think the tranny is taking a crap... slipped on two runs @ around 5700...

Never endgin game of fix it

it's not your car, it's Ohio! i swear, i've never seen or heard of a "good" track time from a car in Ohio. granted i do have 2.73 gears, my car averages 14.3-14.4 at 97mph stock. it has ran a best mph at 98.57 and a best E.T in the sig. my 6spd car ran a best of 14.38 @98.97 mph (all at National Trail Raceway). and everyone i've talked to at the track says their cars ran 14.2-14.5 stock depending on weather.
try again after tuning and see how it does, but i'm willing to bet if you ran it somewhere where the air is better your times would be significantly improved. i'll try to prove my theory this summer....road trip!

I have run a 13.7 @ 108 with everything in sig. Thats with a horrible 60 and missed 3rd gear on street tires.

My cam's not much bigger than yours and I have shorties.

I would say your trap mph is very low for you mods, your dyno too.

All I can say is:

My cat's breath smells like cat-food.

yeah, i think those times are pretty low even for a A4. i traped almost 6 mph higher with a slightly bigger cam and a A4. dyno #'s dont seem that far off though. weird.

Stall eventually, after I fix all my little problems so I don't create anymore

315/35/17 BFG Comp T/A with 19 PSI...

PCM was tuned by PCM4Less, but what's wierd is the spark advance. In the Constants you can set maximum spark advance and it's at 46 degrees. Now looking at the timing table, I see some cells at 47!

I run 93/94 Octance and I've tried 100 Race Fuel with no help since I forgot to LOG! The only thing I can think of is fine tuning it. I'm definately recording knock in the 4000-4800/98 KPa ranges...
