Hot start problem PLEASE HELP

I have never had this problem inthe past. I converted to a vented opti this year. The car runs fine but when it is hot from running rounds close one another the car doesn't want to start. It cranks great, has great fuel pressure at cranking. I can let the car sit for a few minutes and it starts right up. I have changed the coil, ignition control module, and even redid all the MSD ignition wires. I can't find this one out. Please Help.

It might be getting flooded. Next time you hot start it, hold the gas pedal to the floor while cranking. This tells the computer to lean out the mixture at startup.

Might try spacing the ICM away from the head.

I was thinking of movng the whole coil assembly away from the head. I might try that this weekend.

If you have an ignition component breaking down from heat, moving that component is only a band-aid for the problem. The part must be found and replaced as it will only continue to further errode until it becomes a problem all the time. You can test COLD components by heating one at a time with something like a blow dryer and quickly test the engine to see if you found the right one.

However, keep in mind that if the ignition components were the problem, it should show up while the engine is running, not just when you shut it off. There are other reasons you could be having problems.
