Hookers or MACS?

Here's the deal,
I can get Jet hot coated Hooker headers with a coated y-pipe for $520 shipped. However, I can get MAC headers w/y-pipe, an offroad pipe, o2sims, and ceramic coating by LO-Ko on the headers only for around $700.
These are the only two types of headers I'm debating now but I have a few questions.
1)Which ones flow better and produce more power?
2)Will it make a difference if the y-pipe isn't coated?

Thanks guys

Those are American prices and all parts would be from Speed Inc. If you're interested in Mac headers(94-95 style), get them to price match TNA motorsports at $379.99.

well i bought the macs

ive heard everywhere for pure power, you cant beat the longtubes,i just didnt want to deal with the ground scraping and the flange leaks.so, i got the macs,on the install page on www.projecttransam.com ,this dude said he got like 30 hp from the macs, seemed a lil steep to me,but nonetheless, the macs make decent power im told......havent installed mine yet.

I would think getting the y pipe coated would be a good thing! I think the FLPs have their y pipe coated.

BTW you said you got the proices for the hooker headers at speed.inc That used to be ls1speed.com right?

I checked out their web site and didt see hooker headers. That is a great price for headers, pipe and coating .
