Hooker 1 5/8" shorties?

I want to get some shorties for my car. It's a 97 WS6. I just bought a Borla system from Thunder racing(94-95 style) and I want to get (94-95 style) headers. I can get the Hookers for $559.95 Jet-Hot ceramic coated(with coated y-pipe). Will these exaust components work well together? I will be running an off-road pipe and o2 sims. What kind of gains can be expected? Thanks!

Make sure the egr/air fittings will fit. The headers and the catback will go together fine. You may be able to get the headers cheaper if you buy them directly from Jet Hot. Mine were $485.

Just be aware that the hooker shorties do not have D-ports on them so getting a good seal is not very easy. The only way I got mine to not leak was to use the Earl's ultra seal d-port gaskets. They have all smog hookups and will make some decent power, but you might want to look into a little higher quality header. Not saying arent good, but Ive seen better headers out there.

I've had mine for almost a year. No leaks here. They look and sound great too.

Definitely buy them directly from Jet-Hot. They'll hook you right up! You can see pics on my website (link in the sig).
