Hit up the track tonight....results inside (XE 224/230)

Pulled off a few 12.3s @ 109, 1.66 60' with the new 3200 Vigi, and cracked a 12.2 @ 109, 1.66 60'. Overall I'm really happy with the setup....DA was +300.

-Pacesetter LTs, 2.5" X-pipe with bullets dumped at the rear
-SLP CAI
-CSR water pump
-MadZ28 PCM tune
-3200-3400 Vigilante converter, CPT Race trans
-Moser 12-bolt rear, 3.73s

-Comp XE 224/230, Comp 918 Beehives, 1.6 Pro Mags, 7.200" Magnum pushrods, stock lifters, blah blah. If you have any other questions just ask.

Now it's time to spray it and try for 10's.

Hi, I just ran the mph through the Moroso calculator and @3600lbs your making a very nice 360 rwhp. How ruff is the idle and what rpm do you shift?

Shift points are set at 6150 RPMs...so 6200. Idle isn't rough at all...has a minor lope to it, and idles a little rougher than it did with bolt-ons. Definitely a mild cam....I love it.

Sweet, similar setup to me. I'm running a distributor and *MILDLY* worked heads but with shorties. Aiming for a tad bit faster than that since my car should be noticeably lighter (third gen with quite a bit of weight reduction..hoping to be around 3200lbs total raceweight with me, gas, and a full bottle). Looking for mid 10s on spray as well.

I'm only going to be running 3.23s because with spray I plan on trapping mid 120s and that'd put me past my powerband with 3.73s, unless I step it up to a 28" tire...which requires spending more money.

Nice job. Are you going for "cam only" 11s?

Good runs.... that car is definately making the power to hit an 11 second pass. Nice short time too. What all are your mods? Maybe there is a place to squeeze out just a tad more power.

how do you feel about your MadZ28 tune? Was it dead on and much better than when it was untuned?

Oh and nice times, way to represent the mild cam underdog LT1!

Very nice times! Your 1/8th mile trap and ET is similar to what I ran with a HOTcam and some homeported heads. Sounds like a nice cam you've got

Yeah..I'd never expect more than 330rwhp out of it on a dyno.

As far as the MadZ28 tune goes, Ion is a great guy to do business with, and I highly recommend him.
