High tranny temp?

Yesterday my friend and I got our akm cable and hooked my car up to the free scan software and found out that my tranny temp was at 235 degrees F. :alert:  We read the temp on 2 programs and it was the same. I'm no where near a tranny expert, but shouldn't the tranny temp be a little cooler? I have a stock converter and this was after driving on the highway. I'll be getting the b&m 24,000 cooler next pay check. One last question, does anyone know, on average, the amount this cooler cools down the tranny?

Thank
Ryan

Should pull the temp down about 20-30 degrees. Mine never goes over 185-190. In stop and go traffic with the fans on it might hit 195. Put that cooler in ASAP.

well I can tell you, I have a stock drivetrain and my tranny temp was at 225 F. quite hot, hot enough to boil water...maybe a tranny cooler will be mod #3 for me. who knows
