help with valvetrain

Does anyone know what the stock rocker arm ratio is on a 94 lt1, Or the pushrod length and diameter. Also, if i wanted to go aftermarket w/ my valvesprings , rockers, and puchrods what should i use. I dont have much experience w the valvetrain on lt1s.

Re: help with valvetrain

Stock rocker arms are 1.5. Most guys step up to 1.6 rolling rockers. I like the Comp Cam Pro Magnums. The are not self aligning so you need to add guide plates. The 1994 cam with hardened push rods that will work fine with guide plates and the stock length is fine. I highly recommend you change valve springs to eliminate the potential of coil bind with the higher ratio rockers; the LT4 springs seem to do the trick.

I like the pro magnums as well, if get them have them for 7/16" studs not the stock 3/8" it will be maybe $30 more (price of new ARP studs) and will give better stabilty and will serve better down the line with more radical mods.
The pushrods are 7.2" x 5/16".
