Help Timing Set.

Hey All

I think i ordered the wrong timing chain for my 1993 LT1 ( with 1993 opti)

I need to change the order tonight before it ships in the morning- please help

What timing chain do i buy?

Right now i have a CLO-9-3145 on order and i dont think thatl work, i also have a SUM-G6601 that i originally ordered ... I need help

What timing set do i buy please ? Part numbers so i can just call back summit

It must work with 1993 opti and 1993 engine.

I cant help you here but also have been wondering this for my 94(same setup). Ive heard that you can do a modification for the newer timing cover but have had no luck in finding a link to explain it further.

It must work with 1993 opti and 1993 engine.

You can't use either of those without modification. You must use a stock cam gear or timing set if using the stock, non-vented opti.

Not to hi-jack the thread but is there any option for the non-vented opti or 94 and older cars in general?

Only to convert to a vented opti (which means changing lots of stuff-not too bad if you do it in conjunction with a cam swap).
