HELP! Still bad gas mileage

After changing the injectors, plugs, wires, fuel pressure regulator, opti, and O2 sensors, I still am getting about 10 miles per gallon. Ive recently relashed the valves and now my idle has gone up about 500 rpm in neutral and drive. The car has just over 100000 miles, cat replaced recently with other regular maintainence. I havent had the car scanned since relashing the valves, but before that, all the numbers were ok when it was scanned. the car does not seem to be running rich either. no black smoke or gas smell...No gas leaks either.

Any Ideas? Im kind of stumped here. So are my mechanics who are very good and have really gone out of thier way to help me and not charge me buttloads of cash to scan and rescan the car.

If there is a problem with the MAP sensor, it will not sense engine load properly. That can cause decreased power an poor gas mileage.

Numbers look ok as in how? You just see a code 12 and thats it if every thing is fine and no codes. The problem is probably a bad MAF or MAP like Rob said. A bad Knock Sensor would cause the car to run rich.

if you can get ahold of a scanner and a guy who knows what hes looking at... it should be pretty easy to find the problem since you have replaced so much already.

my guess is MAF or MAP.
