Exclamation Help Sevice Engine Light!!!

My service engine light came on today and i put a 160 themastat in yesterday but i dont think thats why do LT1 have a milage timer for the service engine light or is the somthiing i could look at to see if i need to service. My coolant might need change but oil is new mobile 1 tripple sythetic i have 107,000 miles and i m second owner bought from a couple that never drove hard.

could be a million things. you'll need to either scan for the code or get it scanned. autozone does it for free but the SES light has to be on at the time and it's sketchy at best.

um... check your air pump fuse in the fuse relay box near the air intake. when the fuse gets blown the light SES light will show up.... **its a 20 amp fuse**

try disconnecting your battery for like 5 min... connect it again, start the car see if u still get the light...

if not them, gotta get the good old car scaned for the code.

You dont have to diconnect the batt. to reset your ECM.. In the fuse panel look for ECM BATT.. 10 amp fuse... Remove, count five ( if you want to), and replace....

Just have your car scanned and find out why the SES light is on
