Help with a set-up and questions.
 

Well i was wondering what you guys this about what I’m about to do with my car.


1st my plan is to get Long tube headers. I was going to try to buy these used. What kind of headers have been giving the best gains.

2nd is that I can get my heads ported and polished for free and I’m planning on doing that. Now I hear some people say match your heads to your cam ect. Well I don't know much about that but can someone tell me how?

3rd i plan on camming it out. I have read up and was thinking about getting the 236/230 and still keep it a daily driver.

Does anyone have any other idea on maybe something I can do to get a few cheap horsepower or maybe should i throw in a converter before I do my cam? What about gears?

What order should i do theses in.

And last but not least how much hp/tq do you think i would be pushing with the the heads and headers, and then with the cam?
