Help: Need help witha mis-fire.
 

I just replaced the OPTI, water pump, plugs and put in Taylor OVC kit. I also removed the air pump which I did not do when I installed the headers a month ago. It starts fine, but I have to hold it at a 2000 RPM to keep her running. I can stab the throttle and it is fine, but if I let it fall below 2000 it dies or if I roll the throttle up to 3000 it willmis-fire badly. Any ideas from you would be appreciated.

Nope, I checked that. I am picking up a new coil tonite. I think that is it.

bad maf?

try unplugging it...if it runs ok it indicates that is the problem.

sure you don't have a hole in the intake someplace...like a ripped elbow

I let it run for a bit and it pulled a MAF code so i bought a new one. I will not get to work on it till Wednesday, but i will update. I doubt it is a ripped elbow, but i will check.
