Heating problem....

...not sure if it is really a problem. Here's the deal.

Last year, i lived in San Diego. My car had problems overheating on the freeways in traffic. When the water pump went out, i bought a electric waterpump, 180 Degree thermostat, and rewire my fans so that one is already on. That keep the temp. Right at 180 all the time. Never had a problem.

Then I moved here. Car set for 7 months. In that time i replaced the opti, wires, plugs, and work on the interior. I just got plates for it yesterday. Most have drove it for 5 hours straight. The temp never raised above 140 degrees.

Is this going to be a problem? What would be the best way to fix that if it is?

Your car should reach 180*.I would say your thermostat is stuck open.Replace it.also get a manual fan switch or reprogram the settings as you dont need one on all the time.:)

Remove your rig to keep the fan on and get some reprogramming.
