Heat Range
Well I have my car back from the shop and was given some sugjestions on Spark Plugs.
I have NGK TR-55's in my car right now but it was sugjested that I go to a hotter plug the NGK TR-5.
What is this going to do for me?
Thanks

Re: Heat Range
TR5 are the same heat range just a .035 gap instead od .050 gap.
Also that heat is great for a stock motor and is probably the most common plug used here especially on modified cars. That said I went from Auotlite 104s to TR55s on my car a week and a half ago and while it still pulls hard and all but it just seemed smoother with the 104s. The 104s I think are slightly colder than the TR5/55 so you might try them if you think you need a colder plug. In the NGK for nitrous and boost needing colder plugs the TR6 is the most common choice.

Re: Heat Range
Thanks!
I'm getting a carbon buildup on my plugs and with my setup I was told I wanted a hotter plug so the next step "up" from the TR-55 is the TR-5 so I'm going to try it.
