headliner installation wisdom?

headliner installation wisdom?
Anyone put in a new headliner and have any wisdom that could help me? Looks straight forward enough, just wondering if there's any "trick" that could minimize the chance of me bending the board. The interior is gutted, so I have EVERYTHING that needs to be off, off.
