Header quick question

my buddy said something about getting a burn valve w/o an exhaust system hooked up

i just purchased an edelbrock header set and i was wondering if i could drive it about 10 miles before i get the Y-pipe welded to the cat.

it'll be loud im sure...

oh and on a side not w/ the headers in there does it make the spark plugs easier? or should i replace them while its opened up?

and with the O'2 sensors should i replace those while im at it too?

I've ran open LT's for countless passes, burning valves is just a myth.

If you run and open y-pipe to an exhaust shop, you don't have anything to worry.

I think the popular story is that if you run with no exhaust, like no manifolds/headers, the cool air will warp your valves.
