Re: header gaskets

I used copper gaskets. Some people have problems with em, but they worked perfectly for me. The key is to check your header bolts a couple times until they aren't backing out anymore.

Only gasket I've ever had success with was an earl's ultra seal aluminum gasket with silicone carbon inserts.

Re: header gaskets

I'm using the Earl's Pressure Masters on the turbo motor. Same thing as what was described above. 1406's should work just fine, but with all header gaskets, remember to check the bolts after a few 100 miles or so. Doesn't matter what kind of gasket you use, the bolts WILL BACK OUT. The only way to avoid this is to use locking bolts (Stage 8) or the Breslin bolts.

ONLY ones I've ever gotten to seal up and STAY sealed...

Not to mention they are made for Earl's by Parker-Hannifin which is one of the best/largest gasket/seal makers in the world.
