Header bolts?

Its been a week since I got my car back from the shop and he said I should bring it back in a week or so to tighten things up. Well, they are always busy and I dont feel like leaving my car there for a week to tighten bolts. Those who did a self intsall on the jet hots, what kind of wrench did you use to get to the bolts, I have stage 8 locking headers to. Also what can I use to seal up like little spaces in flanges, I am not sure if they are leaking, but what can I do to make sure? Thanks.

Just curious. Did they put the locks on the bolts? And if they didn't will they be putting them on when they do a retorque?

A less than reputable installer might have 86'd the locks, especially if they were going to retorque them.

So if the locks are missing, I doubt that they are saving them for you, in which case you might as well had gone with ARPs.

Don't mean to sound pessimistic, but sometimes installers take some shortcuts, especially if the customer might not notice anything out of the ordinary.

Yeah I know what you mean. They are good people and charged me for half of what it should have been he even said he would weld and fab my crossmember and put a heat sheild on my fuel lines, so I doubt they are trying to screw me. What is the torque suppose to be and what can I use to seal that slip tube for the first primary?
