head gasket 9966PT

I have searched and there is a lot of mixed reviews. I am putting my heads back on my car and I want to get the impala head gasket so I have a crushed height of .029. Is this the right gasket to get? They are $19 (a piece) at autozone. Thanks, and is there ANY reason I should not use these. I plan on running a 100-150 shot also (in case that effects reasoning).

9966PT were the standard replacement gaskets I bought for my 95. They have been on my daily driver for about 4 years, now.

Thank you shoebox. I just wanted to make sure. When you say those are the "standard replacement" do you mean they are standard F body or B body? I want the .029 gaskets.

They are just a .049 standard replacement. Go to your local GM dealer and ask for this part number:

12553160

that is the impala headgasket and the quench comes out to .026"

Standard for my car (f-body).
