Hello-

I am looking to install one of those MBA HB Covers. I noticed they need the HB with "extra" holes outside of the 3 needed to mount the HB to the crank hub.

My car is a 94 and does not have these. Is there any issue with installing one that has the extra holes - provided the arrow points to the same place?

Yes, mine has three bolts that hold the HB to the crank hub. The one I am planning to put on has 3 other holes (for a total of six).

 

those dont matter, its probably only more convenient for when your taking it off, or for a different kind of harmonic balancer puller. as long as it fits inside the hole for the harnomic balancer is all thats needed, do you have a link to this?

ya it should work, thats only for a different kind of puller.
