When my car sits for a couple of hours it is hard to start. I will crank but not start for twenty seconds or so. It seems fuel related beacuse it will start with a sputter like it is not getting enough fuel. Is is possible that it can loose its prime when not running.

 

I guess you could have a leak in your fuel system but if you turned your key on, waited a few seconds while the pump pressurized the lines and rail then tried to crank it you should have fuel. I would bet its ingition related.
