Got some wide band results

95 ta a4 with flowmaster muffler, ported tb with screen removed,kn cone.

10.8 to 1 till about 4800 then it dropped to 10.3 to 1

The car ran 14.2 @ 99 with a 2.17 60' with this a/f.

I'm installing gears right now and getting a tune from pcmforless, so I hooked up my wide band so i could give him the results for better tuning.I'm thinking the higher rpms with the screen removed on the maf may be making the car get alittle richer.

The tune should help that A/F ratio out. That is way too rich for a N/A car.

Re: Got some wide band results

The stock LT1 PCM programming will generally set an 11.7:1 target A/F ratio in power enrichment (PE) mode. That's already too rich. Yours is running way too rich, assuming you used the wide-band correctly. You will make more power in the 12.8-13.2:1 range.

Make sure you give bryan the AFR when you go to get a chip. thats definately odd for a relatively stock car to be that rich. Most are in the late 11's to early 12's
