got new head bolt kit, gm # 12495499 do I use the old washers?
 

getting everything together to reassemble the topend of my motor.. can't wait to hear the 306 again ;) anyway, the new headbolt kit did not come with washers.. am I supposed to reuse the old ones or are the new bolts designed not to use them?

You can probabley get away with it, but is it worth tearing down a motor if you don't?

tear down the motor because of re-using the washers? don't you always use washers on AL heads? I'm hoping to at least get my heads back on tomorrow.. but I need this bit of critical info
