Got a coolant problem.

Got a coolant problem.

when im driving around the low coolant light comes on and when the car sit after driveing coolant starts coming out of the over flow i cant find any leeks the is nothing on the dround i have replaced the cap 3 times and tested the cap it works fine friend of mine think it could be a head gasket but i dont think so there is nothing coming out of tail pipe car has plenty of power i have check the water pump and i dontsee any leeks i have looked every were any thought or ideas would be greatly apreciated

2 tests will answer if you have any internal problems. The first to do is pressurize the coolant system and see if it holds.

The second test to do is a leak down. If there are any internal problems in the engine, those tests will find it.

hey man I was just having the same problems. I took out the t-stat and left the cap open. If everything is sealed then you shouldn't get any airbubbles or overflow from the rad. Right now I have my engine torn apart because of the same ting and I have blwon head gaskets on both heads. It could be that or a crack in the block or heads. Somewhere the engine sounds like its pulling in air and my bet is it a head gasket. I didn;t have any whitesmoke or preformace problems that i could see but diffenatly no white smoke but i did have some leaks due to the carbon build up on the heads. Its a pain but it will fix your problems and give your engine a chance to get cleaned up pretty good.
