Got the car running good and WOW... Any idea's on times?

I know it is hard to judge times for the 1/4, but my car feels really strong and I've been driving it with open headers and have to until I can get hooker to mail me a flange. My mods are, hotcam kit, TCI 3000 converter, hooker super comp midlength headers, 3.73 gears, pcm4less tune, and other things listed in my sig. I'm hoping to break into the 12's on motor. Last year at cicero I went 13.8 with 2.73s and that was with only the drivers seat in the car. Right now traction is definately a problem but I want to get a better rear before I get sticky tires and suspension mods. So does anyone have any guesses what she'll do in the 1/4?

I would think you shouldn't have a problem breaking into the 12's with your mods man. BTW: Your right in owego, why don't you go to skyview on friday night and see how it does? I will be up there next friday with a friend. That will give you a real good idea how it will run in the 1/4.

Your stock rear with an A4 should be fine. I think you should have no problem pulling mid to high 12's with traction. Sounds like a strong car.

Well my rear isn't in the best of shape because I have done a lot of burnouts and the clutches aren't good in my rear. It is kinda of half and half for if I have one wheel going or two wheels going. But when I launch it, it goes. Gotta love converters . My mom is up at skyview and normally runs 8.0 in her grand prix and has done a best of 12.3 in the quarter and I want to finally beat her.

I will be up there on friday night. It isn't test and tune this weekend, just racing all weekend. Might even go to Cicero tomorrow morning and see how she does. I'm actually living in Binghamton now, maybe you have seen or heard my car in the last week. Its a purple pearl metallic formula. Its open headers so you would know if it was me.

Do you have the new 3.73's already installed? I was gonna say that if your posi is beat, like you say...i have a 2 series carrier I would be willing to sell. It works great. If you already have the 3.73's installed then you probably won't wanna pay to have it all set up again. Either way let me know. I will probably see ya up there next friday tho..
