Going big block chevy...
I have a bud that has offered me a deal that I simply cannot refuse..over 50% off the price if I added all the parts up together...all brand new.
I am going to send the car out to get a full cage... I am going to buy a 9" rear... I am going to buy a TH400, though the deal comes with a fully built, Rossler Powerglide. So why not put a 555", big block chevy in the car. 13:1, Dart Pro-1 345 cc heads, etc... ;) Now all my local LT1 buds get to killer deals on my SBC parts... |
Re: Going big block chevy...
lol man talk about no room to change plugs out lol
I couldnt pass up that off either. Big blocks are power monsters. And are so easy to make power with. Good luck with the new combo, and keep us updated  Mike |

Guy here locally put a 540 Schafiroff in with a FAST and a 200 horse dry shot, on Drag radials the thing ran 5.80's 1/8 mile. Was a wheel standin hoot to watch. AKA Team Prick Racing

Re: Going big block chevy...
Bah..the deal ended falling thru.
BUT, it has me looking around though... www.racingjunk.com look at some of those bad boys... All my drivetrain parts I buy will be with the intention of something making craploads of power...over kill for what I have now, but buy it right the first time. |
