Getting the Hub off

This car is giving me more trouble than North Korea. What's a smooth way of getting the hub off?

I put a slide hammer in the center hole of the puller and banged it off.:D Did not hurt anything.

The correct hub removal tool is like a regular damper remover, but it has a hardened rod that slides in the bolt hole for the center post of the puller to push against.

I dont think I would use a slide hammer for the hub on the crank, does not feel right.

Heavy duty 3 bolt puller and some PB blaster should work.

I got a Balancer puller? might that work? or should I take a trip to Napa?

If it is the one with 3 "ears" on top and one on the bottom with the threaded rod going through the center you are good to go!

First make sure the center bolt is out, and/or a longer replacement is in its place.

Then use some type of puller mentioned above on it.

If that doesnt work, heat the thing up with a torch. Sometimes they are just stubborn. Only harm is needing new front main seal, and thats only a few bucks.
