im gettin my cam put in in a few days but i wanted to know what valvetrain parts u guys are using , what springs, lifters, pushrods, and rockers, kinda on a budget so im not going all out thx

 

i used crane #10308 springs they come with keeper and retainer and shims. I used stock pushrods and crane replacement lifters. doing it again. I would used behive springs and stock everything else.

 

I don't remember the ones I got but I got them from combination motorsports. They are good to .580 lift and fit the stock seats. $119 shipped. Came with titanium locks and retainers.

 

My little brother is using in his 95 Formula with a 6 speed, cc306 and 4.10 rear gears:
Comp R lifters
Comp 987 dual valve spring
Titanium retainers
hardened Comp pushrods (stock length)
Gm Guideplates
7/16 NSA Comp 1.6 roller rockers Pro Magnums
30# SVO injectors

All this on stock heads and his car dynoed 347rwhp corrected and not a problem one with just over 1200 miles on his setup.
