Get my to hook.
Car keeps running 14.1--14.4. Cutting 2.1-2.3 60'
Current Mods=flowmaster CAI Nitto555r 3200 stall 2.0 str
Tire psi has ranged from 17-13.
WHAT IS THE PROBLEM???
BTW with just the flowmasters car ran 14.2 and Cutting 2.1 60' on the street tires that came with the car.

The car is so close to stock and these Nitto 555rs can't make me hook. I feel like a dummy for wasting my money. Made 6 runs and the best I could do is 14.1 what the hell is that. I've dropped .1 from add 3200 stall and 555rs thats terrible
Are you hooking like crazy ? If so, you may be bogging a little. Try putting the psi back up so you can geta little slip so your car will move off the line. Then all you have to do is adjust to the RPM you launch at that allows you have the best grab. Hope this helps
I'm not hooking thats the problem. I had the car at 25 psi. Ran a best of 14.1. And today 16 psi I ran 14.1 and also ran 14.1 a 14 psi. I was losing the car in first and second this just doesn't add up.
roll into the throttle, my first 8-9 runs at the track were down right embarssing, high 14's even a 15 once, once i learned some throttle control i was in the 13's on a m6, seriously, dont take this the wrong way, but it could all be in your driving.
Are you heating the tires really good? Like a good 5-6 second burnout til you see white smoke? With a stall like that it's obvious your gonna have a hard time getting traction off the line. Try not to stall it up and just roll out a little when you go. Then give it as much throttle as possible til you can get to wot and retain traction. Also play with the psi a little on the tires, mix that with different lengths of burnouts and let us know what you get. Sometimes you have to experiment with your car to see what works. Also what was track prep andweather conditions for that day? Maybe they were really horrible. Try going to a different track if possible, maybe their clocks are a little off too? Happens at a track around my area. Their clocks are wrong. Good luck
I'll try rolling out next weekend. Yesterday it rained early in the day then it was about 60-65 all day but, I ran at night around 7;00 PM so it was about 50 outside. For track prep not sure. But one thing it do know is that my car should be running atleast 13.7
Your car should be faster than 13.7 even. Mine ran that same exact time with just a cutout and cai on street tires. It's a 95 Z with 2.73's. After just the 3000rpm vig. stall I know for a fact it was a lot faster. Just not sure what improvements I got because I did a couple other things also before I ran it at the track.
I got ET streets because with a 3200 stall your going to need them or it's a smoke show even with the nittos. I have a BMR adj. torque arm and all the other suspension stuff in my sig. i ran 2.0, 2.1 60' all day with crappy street tires. Do you have any suspension stuff done? Off topic i just put a 3200 stall in my car when i did the tranny it's a vigilante. Did you guys have any probs with the way the car shifted. I've been hearing things about a "stall wall" that pre 96 (obd1) cars won't work right with anything higher than a 2800. I mean it doens't seem to come down when it shifts....it shifts but then it only comes down to 4k i never paid attention before then but i know it came down a little farther. I hope LT1Edit will fix this
P.S. sorry to jack your thread.

I chose the route of ET STREETS and Don't Regret it at all. I hook up Perfectly and only do 1500RPM launches and has no feeling of strain on the rearend the way I launch it. I feel sorry for people that do high launches on ET Streets though, cause they HOOK UP.
