which to get first....

would it be wiser to get exhaust first, or N2O. im not sure if i will have the cash for all the exhaust...i want to get a GMMG exhaust system with medium length headers. do i need a different y pipe with this stuff also?

do the headers first

the midlenght headers will come with thier own ypipe.

the GMMG is awesome but $$

why not do the headers, run some 3" tube from the ypipe back to a 3" cutout, then connect the rest of the current exhaust to the cutout?

that way you have the advantage of a 3" system back to the cutout, but an inexpensive and quiet exhaust for normal driving. if you want buy an electric cutout plate for it.

just a thought to save you some $$

thanks for the advice.....ill look into the cutout etc.

but my main choice is mac midlength headers *which you say comes into a y pipe* that i will have a GMMG cat back system which replaces the mufflers etc.

im not sure if any of that is legal, im new to the state, and i hear the VA has very tough laws on cars.

definitely go with exhaust first... open that end of the car then the intake part with a cold air....... a cutout would help too.

"can i run a CAI with N2O"

that's kindda like asking "can i drive my car if i just waxed the hood?"

irrelivant

the cai just allows cooler, free-er flowing air into the engine. has no relivance to whether n2o is used or not. the stock air box is quite restrictive.

NOTE:

it would help us out on suggestions if we knew what kind of car you had and any specifics of it. year, trans, etc...
