fuel system problem
 

was at the track and after my run my car stalled,tried to start back up and when it finaly started i knew something was wrong. the guy who built my motor was there and couldn't believe it!!! well after taking it out and bringing it to him he found 1 completely cracked piston and 3 more on the way!!! after looking at the intake they found small redish-brownish flexible plastic pieces in my fuel rail and in my injectors. so obviously it detinated from lack of fuel,my question is where did it come from? i took the fuel filter to them and they cut it open and said they found nothing? so they said check after the filter,i looked but my car has only 17,000 miles on it and everthing looks like new :D the line is fine and the quick connects are perfect and the soft line looks new and feels new? the only time my fuel system was open was when they had tuning issues with the fuel and they put in a new in-line pump,but that wasn't it and they figured it was the one in the tank.they replaced that and it was fine.i have put 1,000 miles on since then,went down the 1/4 mile about 10 times before it blew :cry: where cold this crap came from :confused:
