I'm wanting to put a set of corvette feul rail covers on my 97 ss and was wondering if they will interfere with my ram air unit. or what little tweaking ill need to do to them to make them fit.
secondly, i want to replace my ugly painted red valve covers with some chrome or red ones. mine are stock.
i've noticed that some wont fit beacuse of the alt. I'd like to get a kit made to move the alt to the bottom of the motor and fit some nice centerbolt valve covers uptop with a nice chrome breather.
just looking for ideas.

you can get a set of aluminum valve covers on ebay that come notched for the alternator. I believe they are about 90 buck + shipping. I bought a set and then painted them, they look great. You will have to get a breather that will fit though. As far as the fuel rail covers go, I don't see why they wouldn't fit. You will have to notch for the fuel lines and the brake booster hose.

my dad is making me a set for my Z28 and my 97 SS he already made a set for a friends 93 trans am and they look awsome (polished aluminum) ill see what he wants to make a set for a fellow fbody person.
