fuel level gauge

I am about to change the fuel pump (next morning) and since I'll have the fuel level "handy"---what can I do to correct the inaccurate fuel gauge. Since new, the 3/4 level point is about 1/2; the 1/2 point is about 1/4.

no, they are all like that... we discussed this on this forum before... the shape of the tank is to blame... ALL f-bodies have that, yours is not broken... if you want to change the tank and the whole system by all means... but its not worth it
