Front/rear O2 sensor Q with Mac headers & DTC

I have 95 style MAC midlengths in my 97 camaro and o2 sims for the missing O2 sensors...
Just got P0134 insufficient signal activity Bank 1 Sensor 1

This would be for the precat O2 sensors if I am seeing this correctly. I have not checked the vehicle, but these are not the Simulated sensors, correct? The simulated sensors are the post cat sensors, which are Sensor 2.

Can someone confirm this before I get under the car or grab the wrong sensor from the store?

Thanks!

That's the front O2 on the driver side. Before you go replacing the sensor right off the bat, make sure it's plugged in all the way and that the wires aren't burning on your new headers.

Headers aren't new, they've been on for about 2.5 years. Never been an issue until now.

I mainly need to know if the front O2 is the one that uses a simulator or is a real sensor? I don't mind grabbing a sensor on the way home from work tomorrow then checking it. That way if it is the issue, I don't have to make another trip. If it isn't I can return the sensor at my leisure.

Ah - sorry about that. For some reason I thought they were new. I'm getting old.

Anyway, the POST-cat O2s require the simms. You still need the front O2s for the PCM.

Great that's actually good news, since I can't easily acquire sims anymore! Thanks for the help!
