freak or not?
I have a 95 z28 6speed, It hit 150K miles on the way to dyno it saturday
I did 290/322 on what seems to be a completely stock car I don't know of anything done too it. http://test.wofut.com/zacdyno.jpg is there somthing done to it ya think or is it a freak? its still got manifolds etc.... car can be seen here http://www.elitecrew.net/z28 |
Did you buy it used? Cause the paint job ain't stock. Heads could have been ported, but even then, thats a lotta dyno for that many miles.
|
There's definetely something done... Those numbers are too high for even a real freaky freak. :D
Very nice paint job by the way. |
yea I had it painted
these are my fav pics of it :) http://www.elitecrew.net/z28/DSC00045.JPG http://www.elitecrew.net/z28/DSC00032.JPG so what you guys thinks done too it? I need some headers that will put me over 300 rwhp on an lt1 ;) I am already beating some ls1's hp wise and in races |
That cat-back isnt stock

As already mentioned, the catback isn't stock. Looks like a Borla? to me...
Also the cold air intake isn't stock. It's a G2 which is pretty much the worst cold air out there, but still, not stock. :) |
Originally posted by CamaroGuy22 That cat-back isnt stock its borla cat back exhaust system but! I cut out the cat and it was super super raspy so i bought a dynomax bullet muffler and welded it up where the cat was 3in/3out muffler and its now on the super raspy mode but oh well lol it runs pretty decent for what it is so i dont bitch /edit and yes it has that g2 crap I'm going to make a homeade cold air kit for it out of plastic pvc pipe :) |
Also your ET is a good indicator that it isnt stock:
Best E/T: 13.686 @ 103.90 You are almost trapping 104...i would say something has been done that you are not aware of. |

I'd try to see if you have the stock program somehow. Check for a TB bypass and free mods.
With free mods and programing i got 277 rwhp, you have a catback and off road pipe on top of that and i could easily see that making the 13 hp. I don't think it's that freaky, just a car in good tune/well maintained and probably with a modified program. |
Dude, I have a friend with a car like that. His is a '96 Z with a intake and a catback he made 305rwhp. I was convinced the previous owner put roller rockers on it until I saw the engine bay! It was freeking discusting. It looked like it had never been touched. With a cutout and stock cats on his car he beat me on the hiway after my LT intall!
