flame exhaust?

i'm always looking for unique things to do to my '95 z28 and i was thinking about goin with the old school flame exhaust. I know nothing about it though but i'm sure some of yall could tell me the positives and negatives about it and what i'd have to do if i wanted it. thanks.

do a search on your favorite web search site, there should be tons of information out there. Try to target old school rodder sites as opposed to import/ricer sites.

My understanding is it is tough with fuel injection and cats, because on the old school stuff they choked it loading the exhaust up with fuel and then lit it up. With FI it would be more complicated to load it up and then the cats want to burn that off anyway. But where there's a will there's a way, good luck and we want vids.

Actually ive seen the car shoot 3-5 foot orange flames with ease, depends on how he has the car tuned at the time, you dont always want to be running so ruich you blow orange flames a few feet long all the time. For some reason imports spend like 3 times as much on car parts so he's probbaly showing what the imports like lol. If you want a good flame pic i can probbaly get him to send you one.

I think flames are cool if they are tasteful.
