fixed the miss finaly
 

after six months and a ton of money today i finaly got it back to where it used to be. i replaced the optispark the plug wires, timing chain wayer pump and put under drive pulleys on it and what did it need? the maf sensor cleaned. i swear i tried this before but i used a q tip on the little wires inside and it worked. it is ruuning perfect now i just did a all around s=drive in the country beating on it and driving normal and it is fine....thanks god!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did your car miss? I mean how did it sound? what did it act like? How did it idle? What RPM range did it occur in?

it would run fine when i started it and then once warm it would miss out mostly between 1500 and 2000. not always but most of the time........but get this i drive it to the club tonight and some dumb a$$ hits me from behind. i get out and he is trying to take off. i reach thru the window and put his truck in park. i tekll him to gib]veme his license and he will not. he tells me to go to the mcdonalds next to us. so i get back in and this dum a$$$ trys to run from me!!!!! he takes out several construction barrels and a couple of mail boxes so i keep following. he finaly blows the tires then the motor. i jump out and rip the plate of his truck and take off. all the while i keep waiting to get shot by this a$$hole as he freaks out because i am ripping the plate off his car. AHHHHHHHHHH now my check engine light is on the tail light covers are broke and the lights are all jacked up and that is what i can see in the dark. man i am glade i did not drive my new vette tonight!!!!!
