I am going to attempt to replace my power window motor this weekend. It has previously been done once or twice by my dealer. My question is does the dealer typically use bolts to mount the motor when they do a repair or will I likely still see the rivets? It should be easier if there are bolts... right? Thanks for any feedback All the posts on this subject and the shoebox site are giving me the confidence to do this on my own.... steve c

 

Could be either. They probably did not use my method. Either way, it won't be hard when you get to that point.

 

Thanks for the quick response. Knowing my dealer I am expecting a combination of paper clips, chewing gum and duct tape in there... steve
